About the cabin
How many people does Bella Casa sleep?
Comfortably six. Two bedrooms hold two queens and two twins, and the A-Frame loft adds extra sleeping space under skylights. That is 4 beds across 2 bedrooms plus the loft, and linens are provided for every bed. See the full bedroom breakdown on the home page.
How big is the cabin?
Bella Casa is a roughly 1,000 sq ft A-Frame, which is a sweet spot for groups of 4 to 6. It feels open thanks to the vaulted A-Frame ceiling and the loft, but stays cozy enough for two. Browse photos on Airbnb to get a feel for the layout.
Is the whole cabin ours?
Yes, you rent the entire place. No shared spaces, no other guests on the property, no host on site. It is just you and your people for the length of your stay.
Is there air conditioning?
The cabin has a split AC system sized comfortably for the home's square footage, with ceiling fans and portable fans throughout for extra airflow. For colder months we have indoor heating that keeps the cabin warm even during snow. Tip: pack light layers for evening temperature swings.
Is there reliable WiFi?
Yes, the cabin has WiFi that is reliable for streaming, video calls, and remote work.
Is there cell service?
Cell service in this part of the Poconos varies by carrier. Verizon and AT&T usually work fine at the cabin, while some smaller carriers can be spotty. Turn on WiFi calling on your phone as a backup before you head up.
Are the beds comfortable?

What is the kitchen setup?
It is a kitchenette built for real cooking, not just snacks. You get an electric cooktop, microwave, mini-fridge, dishwasher, a fully stocked coffee bar, and a complete set of dishes, utensils, and basic condiments. Bring your own specialty ingredients and you can cook full meals here.

How do I book?
What is the price range?
Nightly rates run from about $170 to $350 depending on the season, demand, and length of stay. Weekdays and shoulder seasons (late spring, early fall) are the best value. Check exact prices for your dates on Airbnb.
What is check-in and check-out time?
Check-in is 3 PM and check-out is 11 AM. Check-in is self-service via a door code that we send before your arrival, so you can arrive on your own schedule after 3 PM. If you need an early check-in or late checkout, just ask and we'll do our best.
Is there a security camera?
There is one video device at the front door used for check-in and basic exterior security. There are no cameras inside the cabin and none anywhere else on the property. Other than verifying check-in, we never review footage unless there is an issue.
Is there a minimum-night stay?
How does the cleaning fee work?
A single flat cleaning fee is added at booking and covers the full turnover after your stay. You do not need to clean the cabin before you leave, but please bag your trash and follow the simple checkout notes we send via Airbnb or VRBO messages.
Location and getting there
Where exactly is Bella Casa?
The cabin is in Tobyhanna, PA 18466, in the Pocono Mountains of northeast Pennsylvania. The exact street address and door code are shared in your booking confirmation a few days before check-in.
How far is it from NYC, Philadelphia, and New Jersey?
Roughly 2 hours from New York City, about 2 hours from Philadelphia, and around 1.5 hours from northern New Jersey, depending on traffic. It is one of the closest true mountain getaways for the tri-state area, which is why it books up fast on long weekends.
Do I need a car?
Yes, a car is strongly recommended. The Poconos are rural, there is no public transit to the cabin, and the restaurants, lakes, and attractions you will want to visit are 15 to 45 minutes apart by road. Ride-shares are limited and unreliable here.
What is the closest airport?
Wilkes-Barre Scranton International (AVP) is the closest at about 45 minutes. Newark (EWR) and JFK are 2 to 2.5 hours by car, and Allentown (ABE) is about 1 hour 15 minutes. Most guests rent a car at the airport.
Where do I park?
The driveway fits 3 to 4 vehicles and parking is free. There is no street parking needed and no permits to worry about. Just pull in and unload at the front deck.
Amenities and house rules
Are pets allowed?
No, pets are not allowed at Bella Casa. This keeps the cabin allergy-friendly for all guests. Service animals are accommodated per applicable law — just let your host know before booking.
Is smoking allowed?
No smoking is allowed inside the cabin or anywhere on the deck. Smoking is fine outdoors away from the structure, and the outdoor fire pit is open for guest use.
Can we host an event or party?
We have a strict no-party policy. The cabin is a quiet residential retreat with community quiet hours, and additional uninvited guests are not permitted. Small family gatherings within the booked occupancy of 6 are welcome.
Is the cabin good for kids?
Yes, families love it here. The twin bedroom is great for kids and the community has playgrounds, lakes, and mini golf. One note: an A-Frame has a stairway to the loft, so very small kids should sleep in the main-floor bedrooms.
Are bedding and towels provided?
Yes. Every bed is made with fresh linens and we provide bath towels, hand towels, and washcloths for every guest, plus extra blankets in the closets. Bring your own beach or lake towels if you plan to use the community lakes.
Is firewood provided for the fire pit?
Yes, we leave a starter supply of firewood for the outdoor fire pit. If you plan a longer stay or a big bonfire night, feel free to bring extra wood and supplies of your choice from a local store on your way in.
Community and the area
What community amenities can we use?
The cabin sits inside a private community with seasonal passes ($12 per person) that unlock 4 pools, 2 lakes with kayaks, canoes, and paddle boats, 6 tennis courts, 6 basketball courts, a bocce court, cornhole, outdoor ping pong, a softball field, 6 playgrounds, 3 clubhouses, 2 dog parks, 2 community gardens, and a 9-hole mini golf course. Passes are optional and worth it in summer.
Where do we get groceries?
Mount Pocono has a full grocery store (Weis) about 10 minutes away, plus a Walmart for last-minute supplies. Tobyhanna has smaller markets and convenience stores for quick runs. Tip: stop on the way in so your first night is easy.
Where is the closest hospital and pharmacy?
The closest pharmacies (CVS, Rite Aid) are in Mount Pocono about 10 minutes away. The nearest full hospital is Lehigh Valley Hospital Pocono in East Stroudsburg, roughly 20 to 25 minutes by car.
Is the cabin open year-round?
Yes, Bella Casa is a four-season cabin. Indoor heating handles cold winters, ceiling and portable fans plus the shaded woods make summers comfortable, and fall foliage and spring streams are some of the best times to visit.
